SPIE Switzerland, a subsidiary of the SPIE Group, Europe's leading independent provider of multi-technical services in the field of energy and communication, announces the appointment of Tamara Obielum, Head of Marketing and Communication, to its Management Committee.
Tamara Obielum has been responsible for SPIE's marketing and communication strategy in Switzerland since July 2023. She reports directly to Pierre Savoy, CEO of SPIE Switzerland. Her remit covers the ICS (Information & Communication Services), MTS (Multi-Technical Services) and IFS (Integral Facility Services) divisions. Her strategic priorities within the Business Units include a consistent focus on the customer, the development of the brand image and an increased focus on digital marketing.
Tamara Obielum's appointment to the Executive Board underlines the importance SPIE Switzerland places on branding, customer communication and reputation management. Marketing and communication tasks are becoming increasingly strategic and, thanks to the management position, can be directly integrated into the company's strategy and culture. This can be a great advantage, especially at a time when corporate values and external image are increasingly important. Career opportunities for women and gender equality are of great importance to SPIE and are effectively supported and encouraged.
After completing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Business Innovation at the University of St. Gallen, Tamara Obielum worked as a digital marketing specialist at Cisco. She continued her career at various companies in the ICT industry until she joined SPIE in 2023.
