SPIE and HINT enter into a strategic partnership in Switzerland

SPIE ICS AG and HINT work closely together to achieve numerous contracts in the health sector. This cooperation will now be intensified through a strategic partnership. The respective ICT portfolios will be continuously coordinated in order to be able to offer customers tailor-made solutions and simplify the orchestration of the wide range of services.

With some 90 employees, HINT focuses entirely on the Swiss healthcare market and provides comprehensive services in the field of managed services. It also offers modular private cloud solutions and is the operator of HINT's National Healthcare Cloud®. The Healthy ICT Process Specialist has a broad client base of acute care hospitals, clinics, psychiatric institutions, retirement and nursing homes, practice groups and social institutions. Like SPIE, HINT is ISO/IEC 27001 certified for information security and provides its services from two highly secure data centers in Switzerland.

SPIE ICS AG is active in the health sector throughout Switzerland, particularly in major hospitals. SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, brings to the partnership patient management systems and multimedia patient terminals, as well as complete services in the fields of videoconferencing, unified communication & collaboration, networks (connectivity) and security (cloud service and managed services). The aim is to ensure smooth voice and data communication in hospitals, retirement homes and nursing homes.

Through this strategic partnership, solution portfolios will be increasingly coordinated and developed. Together, through the two companies, more than 400 employees are responsible for these solution portfolios. Through their joint presence, the partners act as full-service providers with tailor-made advice, implementation and support and operation of solutions in the health sector.
